Japan Labor Cash Earnings Rise In April
Total cash earnings of employees in Japanese establishments with five or more employees climbed 1.5% year-on-year to JPY 275,985 in April, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare reported on Monday. Contractual cash earnings rose 0.4% annually in April. Scheduled earnings were down 0.4% while non-scheduled earnings were up 11.3%. Special cash earnings surged 50%.
In establishments with thirty or more employees, labor cash earnings increased 2.6% annually to JPY 306,922 in April. (Provided by RTTNews).
