Estonia Consumer Prices Rise In August

Estonia's consumer price index increased 2.9% in August compared to the same month a year ago, Statistics Estonia said on Tuesday.

Goods were 3% more expensive, while service prices were 2.8% higher. Food & non-alcoholic beverage prices increased 3.9% during August, while electricity, heat & fuel charges jumped 9.7%.

Consumer prices were unchanged compared to July. Rising housing costs were offset by falling vegetable prices. (Provided by RTTNews)
